Purpose

The purpose of this report is for you to track your progress during the internship and inform me of the status of your internship by addressing the prompts provided below.

Directions

For this week’s report, include answers to the following prompts in your 1-page report:

How is your internship going?
What activities or tasks have you performed?
What have you learned in the past <number> weeks?
How many total hours have you worked up to this point?

What is your opinion of LinkedIn for networking and recruiting?
How do you plan to use LinkedIn?
How do you feel about networking?
Share one way that you plan to expand your network
Share one job position that you are most interested in. Using this position, answer the following questions:
- Which of the top 10 desired traits for cybersecurity professionals are included in the job description/requirements?
- What would be the ideal way for you to connect with the employer for this position?
For those who have a mentor, answer the following questions:
- What is your mentor’s relationship to you?
- Why did you choose this mentor?
- What have you gained or hope to gain from your mentor?
For those that do not have a mentor, answer the following questions:
- Why is it important to find a mentor?
- Who would be an ideal mentor for you?
- Why would this individual be ideal?
- What would you gain from this individual?

Grading Criteria

You will be marked complete in the grade book for submitting this assignment as outlined above.
