This short video (4:49) features Shawn Miller, former Associate Vice President and Head of HR at Boise State, talking about some of these motivating elements, as well as a few other things that companies have to consider when hiring and retaining their workforce in this modern world.

The talk is addressed to HR professionals and hiring managers. It's interesting (and empowering) to see what the people on the other side of the interview table are considering when they're interviewing you!

Let's think beyond your internship and toward your ultimate career goal (though your internship may influence your thoughts here, and you may already be in your dream role in some ways. That's great; use that here.).

Use the table below to address your motivating factors and your hygiene factors for your ultimate career goal.

Answer the question as best you can foresee your future: What are the factors that you feel will lead to job satisfaction and dissatisfaction for you?
